Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT)

The CRAFT Model is used to educate and

support families by helping the family

member or significant other capitalize on

moments when the patient is ready for change.  Parents are

also encouraged to attend when their adult child is not ready

for change (does not wish to participate in treatment), but

they realize they themselves need help to understand and

recover from the emotional and financial devastation created

by their child’s drug/alcohol addiction.
