Dr. Harry Beaman
Chief Operating Officer
Harry Beaman has a Doctorate in Psychology from Northcentral University, a Master's degree in Addiction Counseling from North Dakota State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of North Dakota. In addition, Dr. Beaman has received addiction-related training at the Johnson Institute and Hazeldon. He is currently licensed as an Independent Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Arizona.
Prior to joining Community Bridges, Dr. Beaman was the Vice President of Clinical Operations for ValueOptions and, in that capacity, was responsible for the day-to-day management of Crisis Line, Access Line, Rapid Response Team, Care Management, Utilization Management, Evaluations and Eligibility departments. Dr. Beaman also provided technical assistance and training on the ASAM Patient Placement Criteria to ValueOptions Service Centers across the country and supported contract implementations in Texas, Florida and New Mexico.
Dr. Beaman is retired from the United States Air Force and has experience working with active duty military and their families, homeless men and women, and adolescents in hospital, intensive outpatient and residential settings. While in the Air Force, Dr. Beaman performed duties as a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team Lead and as Systematic Training for Effective Parenting group facilitator; taught graduate addiction counseling courses for Webster University; and presented chemical dependency-related seminars.
